Transparent Labs Bulk vs BH2K
Both brands built their reputation on full label disclosure — no proprietary blends, every dose printed on the tub. This comparison uses the real, current supplement facts panel from each product, not marketing copy.
Transparent Labs Bulk vs BH2K
Transparent Labs built Bulk Pre-Workout around "over 17 grams of active ingredients per scoop" — an 8g citrulline malate dose, a full 4g of beta-alanine, and 200mg of PurCaf caffeine, all printed on the label with no proprietary blends. BH2K takes a different formulation path: 300mg of paraxanthine instead of caffeine, 3.2g beta-alanine, and a 2g CreGAAtine blend (creatine monohydrate + GAA) that Bulk's base formula doesn't include at all. Both brands genuinely disclose everything — this comes down to which specific ingredients you want, not who's more honest about the label.
Transparent Labs sells one of the widest catalogs in the industry — Bulk sits alongside a caffeine-free Lean line, a higher-stim Bulk Black, and separate creatine, mass gainer, and protein products. That breadth is a real strength if you want to build an entire stack from one brand. Unmatched's lineup is smaller and more curated: BH2K, Outlier, and Dissident cover three distinct stimulant profiles in the pre-workout category alone, with CreGAAtine, ElectraShred, and a protein and multivitamin rounding out the rest. Neither approach is objectively better — it depends whether you want one brand's full catalog or a tighter set of formulas built around a specific philosophy.

Where Transparent Labs Is Genuinely Better
Price Per Serving
At $54.99 for 30 servings, Bulk works out to roughly $1.83 a scoop — well under BH2K's ~$3.00. If you're budget-conscious and don't specifically want paraxanthine, Bulk is the cheaper way to get a fully-dosed, no-proprietary-blend formula.
Higher Beta-Alanine Dose
4,000mg vs BH2K's 3,200mg — both are inside the clinically supported range, but Bulk's is the larger dose if that's the ingredient you care most about.
Bigger Citrulline Number
8,000mg of citrulline malate is a genuinely large pump dose. BH2K's 6,000mg 3D Pump Breakthrough blend includes glycerol and amla alongside the citrulline, so the two aren't directly apples-to-apples, but Bulk's citrulline-malate number on its own is higher.
Where BH2K Wins
Paraxanthine Instead of Caffeine
Paraxanthine is caffeine's own active metabolite, with a shorter half-life that tends to mean less carryover into sleep and a cleaner comedown for a lot of people. Bulk's 200mg PurCaf caffeine is a well-sourced, honest caffeine dose — but it's still caffeine, with caffeine's crash and sleep trade-offs.
Built-In Creatine Precursor
BH2K's CreGAAtine blend pairs creatine monohydrate with GAA, its own biosynthetic precursor — a strength benefit plus a cognitive angle GAA is specifically studied for. Bulk's base formula skips creatine entirely; you'd need to buy Transparent Labs' creatine separately.
NSF Certified Manufacturing
NSF Certification is a higher bar than generic third-party testing — it involves ongoing facility audits, not just a one-time product test. Transparent Labs' published Certificate of Analysis is genuinely transparent, but it's a different (and less rigorous) standard than NSF.
Which Unmatched Product Is the Closest Match?
BH2K is the direct comparison here — both are full-strength, energy-plus-pump pre-workouts built for hard training sessions. If price per serving matters more to you than the paraxanthine-vs-caffeine question, Bulk is worth a look; if you want the creatine precursor and the caffeine-free stimulant, BH2K is the pick. And if what actually drew you to Transparent Labs is the promise of a fully-dosed, no-shortcuts label rather than any one specific ingredient, that's the value proposition BH2K is built around too — the comparison in that respect is closer than the ingredient list alone suggests.
